Hi! I'm Mary Lemanski—musician, vocalist, songwriter, recording artist, educator, and founder of Merry Knell DIY Music Academy.
I've spent years writing, recording, performing, and releasing original music as an independent artist. Along the way, I've learned that you don't need a major record label or an expensive music degree (even though I have one) to create meaningful music and share it with the world—you simply need the right knowledge, practical skills, and the determination to keep going.
I created Merry Knell DIY Music Academy to make music education accessible for aspiring musicians, songwriters, and independent artists. Whether you're learning to read music for the very first time, writing your first song, or preparing to release your next album, my goal is to help you gain the confidence and skills to bring your musical ideas to life.
